Briefly, managerial syndrome is a condition that affects individuals in leadership and management roles, characterized by symptoms such as:

— excessive stress

— decision fatigue

— emotional exhaustion

— sense of isolation or detachment from the team

Did you notice any of these symptoms? All of them? “Congratulations!” There’s a chance you already have it.

Unlike general workplace stress, which can affect employees at any level, managerial syndrome stems from the unique pressures and responsibilities that come with leading teams and making critical decisions.

These symptoms can lead to decreased job satisfaction, impaired decision-making abilities, and even burnout if left unaddressed.

Leaders may feel compelled to conceal their struggles, fearing it could undermine their authority or reveal perceived weaknesses. So this silence perpetuates a cycle of stress and isolation, exacerbating the very issues that contribute to the syndrome’s onset.
